Feed safety and preservation
Between intake and the feeder, feed can go mouldy, turn rancid, or arrive loaded with mycotoxins. Each risk has its tool: one does not stand in for another.

Flavours and sweeteners
A least-cost formula can be right in the spreadsheet and wrong in the trough. A flavour covers what the animal refuses; a sweetener gives a clean sweet taste.

Nutritional and functional ingredients
Two ingredients that each do a specific job: a betaine, methyl donor in metabolism and osmoprotectant in the cell, and a Yucca schidigera extract for poultry and pig feed.

A mould inhibitor diluted in the water added at the mixer, an active applied after the press rather than sent through the conditioner: a liquid is only as good as the line that delivers it. Which feed additives for livestock does Linker Nutrients supply?
Four categories. Feed safety and preservation: mould inhibitors, antioxidants and a mycotoxin binder. Digestion and performance: acidifiers, butyrates, tributyrin, monoglycerides, a postbiotic, a probiotic, tannins and an emulsifier. Flavours and sweeteners, for palatability. Nutritional ingredients: betaine and yucca extract. Most platforms come in several grades.
Do you publish inclusion rates?
Yes, on each platform’s page, where the current technical data sheet for the grade gives one; otherwise, rate on request. The right rate depends on the species, the stage, the formula and the process: a technician works it out with you.
Which species do your feed additives cover?
Poultry, pigs, ruminants and aquaculture, with pet food on request, though not every platform covers every species: the catalogue can be filtered by species, and each product page states its uses. What is dosed on the farm, through the drinking water or on the litter, is in Farm Solutions.
Do you adapt a product to a specific formula or process?
Up to a point. Alongside the grades in the range, we look with you for the form that suits your line: powder, liquid or coated granule, or a liquid built for one application point. Tell us the constraint; sometimes the answer is no, and you will get that answer rather than a product that does not fit.
