For the farm

Farm Solutions: drinking-water supplements and house hygiene for livestock farms

In a feed mill you plan in tonnes and in months. On a farm you plan in flocks, in pens and in mornings, and the problem is already there when you open the door. Farm Solutions is built for that timescale: liquid supplements for the drinking water of poultry and pigs, targeted supplies for ruminants and a litter conditioner, used with the equipment already in place, at the point in the cycle where they belong.

From the moment to the programme

A farm programme is laid over your calendar, house by house. A dot marks the moment where a platform belongs; the row opens its programme.

Problems in rows, steps in columns. A dot marks the step where a platform comes in; each row opens its programme.

Between flocks, nothing is dosed: it is the time for a water analysis, for setting the pump and for fresh litter. See preparing the water and the litter.

The platforms, by category

Each name opens its product page: use, pack sizes, documents.

Drinking water

Ten liquid platforms, dosed through the pump already on the farm. Everyday nutrition goes in the feed; what a specific moment calls for goes through the water, in the house and on the days you choose.

Ruminant solutions

Targeted supplies around the moments when demand outruns what the ration can deliver: calving, the young animal, a few days of oral powder in cattle.

House hygiene and litter

On the litter, during the flock, a drying powder of mineral and plant origin keeps moisture down at animal level: a drier house is easier to run.

Frequently asked questions

Why go through the drinking water rather than the feed?

Because of timing. The feed route suits a programme built for a season: stable, part of the formula, present at every meal. The water route suits a reaction to the week you are in: it starts the same day, in one house, and stops when you switch off the pump. It also reaches the animal when it eats little but keeps drinking.

Do I need special equipment?

Usually not: a proportional dosing pump of the kind already fitted on most farms is enough. What matters is how it is set, checked against a water-meter reading: that is where most of the lost dose hides.

Are the rates published?

On each platform’s page, where the current technical data sheet gives them; otherwise, rate on request. The right rate depends on the species, the stage, your water and the moment: a technician sets it with you.

Which species does Farm Solutions cover?

Mainly poultry and pigs. Linkaresp is also used in dairy cows; Linkalci, Linkapectin and Linkapatch are made for ruminants; Linkadry is used in poultry, pig, cattle and horse housing. The catalogue can be filtered by species.

You also work for feed mills: who follows the farm side?

The same technical team. That is the point of having both routes under one roof: nothing falls between the mill and the farm, and the person who knows the formula also knows what goes through the water. Some technologies even come in both forms: Linkacid acidifies feed at the mill, Linkacid Prime L acidifies drinking water on the farm. See Feed Solutions.
